Job Description

State Bank of Missouri is excited to announce an opening for an experienced Loan Officer to join our growing community bank. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is eager to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional financial services to the communities we serve.

Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Candidates should have 5-7 years of lending experience. State Bank values employees who are passionate about making a positive impact in the communities we serve. Knowledge of the Lafayette and Jackson County communities is a significant plus. We offer an excellent benefits package and salary is commensurate with experience.

As a Loan Officer at State Bank, you will:

  • Evaluate, authorize, and recommend approval of loans.
  • Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and answer questions about the process.
  • Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
  • Stay updated on the latest financial regulations and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Participate in community events and initiatives to promote the bank’s presence and services.
