Inventory Control Specialist – Manufacturing | Burlington, WA

Full-time | On-site | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

Location: Burlington, WA

Pay Range: $22–$24/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our client’s production operations team. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory processes and supply chain performance. You’ll play a key role in tracking materials, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across multiple departments
  • Train team members on inventory control processes and best practices
  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies
  • Track inventory movements, BOM consumption, and stock levels
  • Analyze product codes and stock records to resolve quantity mismatches
  • Optimize inventory workflows to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Respond to sales and purchasing inquiries; assist with order fulfillment
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers as needed
  • Prepare and review inventory-related financial reports

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Strong organizational and data analysis skills
  • Comfortable working with inventory software systems and reporting tools
  • Clear, effective communicator with a team-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2- or 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Supervisory or cross-functional team experience
  • ERP system knowledge (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
  • Flexible availability, including willingness to adjust hours as needed
