Job Title: Workers’ Compensation Specialist

Location: Carson, CA

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 annually (DOE)

About the Role:

LHH is seeking a Bilingual Spanish, dedicated and knowledgeable Workers’ Compensation Specialist with a strong background in safety and human resources. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from initial report to resolution.
• Serve as the primary liaison between employees, insurance carriers, medical providers, and legal counsel.
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with HR and Safety teams to ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to claims and safety incidents.
• Support return-to-work programs and accommodations in coordination with HR.
• Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on safety protocols and workers’ comp procedures.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in workers’ compensation, safety, or HR-related roles.
• Strong knowledge of California workers’ compensation laws and OSHA regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Proficiency in incident tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be bilingual Spanish
